DiRT Rally for PC is a car racing video game that simulates rally driving. It is a comprehensive game with a large choice of cars, routes and even distances to choose between.
The game begins far from any road or track as you choose and customise your car. There are seventeen vehicles to choose from initially, going up dramatically to high double figures with models from three decades, various classes and sixteen manufacturers, once you have included all the add-ons and expansion packs.
Once chosen, you can spend a fair amount of time and effort improving your choice and designing the perfect rally car of your dreams, with up to ten choices of livery per car. Each vehicle handles slightly differently – not enough for play to become frustrating or tricky, but enough that you will have fun picking the perfect driving ‘feel’ for your ideal rally car.
Unlike previous driving games released by the same creators, this game has an entirely new, built from scratch physics engine to provide a realistic and fun, yet moderately challenging drive.
